Guitar/Bass/Classical Guitar Instructor
David Ferrara is a classical and electric guitarist in the St. Louis region. David performs solo and with groups such as the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, the Cincinnati Pops, the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, the Miami Valley Symphony, and with groups Funk Allegiance, Camouflage and Midnight Rail. He's played solo recitals in Cincinnati, Dallas, Lexington, Columbus, St. Louis and many other cities. He holds degrees in classical guitar performance from the College-Conservatory of Music at University of Cincinnati and from Southern Methodist University. He performed in masterclasses by Pepe Romero, Scott Tennant, William Kanengiser, Oscar Ghiglia, and many other noted artists. In 1998 again in 2002 he was awarded a Master's Fellowship through Dayton's Culture Works, a substantial grant award.
