Joel has been teaching guitar for 27 years and has a Masters degree from Webster University in Jazz Studies. Joel has been a faculty member at St. Louis Community College and Principia College in the music department. He has played in several bands around St. Louis playing jazz, rock, blues, funk, reggae, pop and R&B. Joel has an incredible command of theory as it relates to the fingerboard. He has an exceptional knack for teaching all ages and all levels.
