Joe Sparks is a Berklee College of Music graduate and seasoned guitar instructor with over a decade of experience teaching guitar students of all ages and skill levels. Known for his patient, energetic approach, Joe emphasizes musicality, technique, and creativity while tailoring lessons to each student’s goals—whether they’re learning their first chord or mastering advanced improvisation.

In addition to his teaching career, Joe is an accomplished performer, composer, and producer. His original music spans rock, funk, indie, and experimental styles, and he brings that same versatility into the classroom. Joe’s background in both live performance and studio recording allows him to offer students a real-world perspective on musicianship, gear, and collaboration. Friendly and encouraging, he fosters a learning environment where students are challenged, inspired, and empowered to grow as musicians.
