The EarthQuaker Devices Zoar Dynamic Audio Grinder Pedal delivers touch-sensitive distortion ranging from light breakup to heavy saturation. Its discrete transistor circuit offers an amp-like response with enough flexibility to cover tight overdrive, aggressive distortion, and thick, fuzz-like textures on guitar or bass.
A passive three-band EQ lets you shape the sound, while the Weight control adjusts the low frequencies entering the distortion circuit. Lower settings keep the response tight and defined, while higher settings add fullness and a looser, fuzzier character. Zoar also supports 9–18V operation, with 18V providing tighter lows, greater output, and improved note articulation. Flexi-Switch technology offers both momentary and standard latching operation.
