This 1964 Gibson LG-1 is a vintage acoustic guitar with classic Gibson character, a comfortable OO body size, and a warm, woody voice. Built with a solid spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, and traditional ladder bracing, this LG-1 delivers a dry, focused tone with excellent midrange presence and vintage charm.
This guitar features a rosewood fingerboard, 24.74” scale length, and a replaced rosewood bridge with a bone saddle for improved stability and response. It has also been upgraded with a K&K Pure pickup, making it ready for live performance or recording while preserving its natural acoustic sound. Includes the original Gibson “chipboard” case.
