The 2020 Gibson Les Paul Standard ’60s is a custom-spec build with classic Les Paul construction and premium appointments throughout. Its mahogany body is topped with AAA figured maple, giving the guitar a striking flamed appearance while retaining the warm, resonant foundation associated with a traditional Les Paul.
A mahogany neck with a Slim Taper profile and rosewood fretboard offers a fast, comfortable playing feel. Custom-spec’d ’59 Tribute humbuckers deliver a balanced blend of warmth, clarity, and vintage-style output, making this guitar well suited for clean tones, overdrive, and classic rock gain.
The traditional control layout includes two volume controls, two tone controls, and a 3-way pickup switch. Handwired electronics with Orange Drop capacitors provide smooth, responsive control adjustment, while Grover Rotomatic tuners offer dependable tuning stability. An original Gibson Custom hardshell case is included.
