The Yamaha LL16M Acoustic Guitar combines solid wood construction with traditional styling and a warm, balanced sound. Its solid Engelmann spruce top provides clarity and responsiveness, while the solid mahogany back and sidesadd warmth and midrange presence. Yamaha’s A.R.E. treatment helps give the top the richer, more mature response associated with a well-played acoustic, and the non-scalloped bracing supports a full low end while preserving clear highs.
A 5-piece mahogany/rosewood neck offers strength and stability, while the ebony fingerboard provides a smooth, comfortable playing surface. The 25 9/16” scale length and 1 3/4” nut width offer familiar string tension and room for both fingerstyle playing and strumming. Yamaha’s Original Jumbo body gives the LL16M a traditional appearance with a substantial acoustic voice.
The LL16M is equipped with an SRT Zero Impact pickup, a passive system designed to minimize its effect on the guitar’s acoustic tone and appearance. This discreet design adds amplification capability while preserving the instrument’s traditional look. A soft shell case is included.
